SMC's Combo Parallel Port Adapter is a compact high -performance ,
external device designed to connect any PC to an Ethernet network.
It is lightweight, low in cost and plugs directly into the parallel
port of any DOS or OS/2-based machine.
The EtherNote ElitePort provides the best possible
performance by automatically selecting the highest performance mode
supported by your PC. The three modes are: standard parallel port
unidirectional mode,
bi-directional mode or 386SL Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP)
mode. With EPP mode, performance that of an 8-bit internal adapter.
This versatile lets you connect to the most popular Ethernet
media. You can use the
Rj-45 port to connect to a 10BASE-T ( twisted pair ) network or the
BNC port for a 10BASE-2 (thin coax) network. You can choose from a
broad range of drivers, too. And, you can also choose a model with
either a USA, UK or European power supply, or provide your own. |
